We had an amazing custom sofa from Dare Gallary and when we rang them and requested more stuffing as the seats were sagging slightly they collected the sofa, re-stuffed and put extra beams to hold the seats more firmly. I have owned the sofa now for 3 years and the fabric is fabulous quality. We have it professionally cleaned every year as we have a dog and a toddler and it looks almost brand new still!
We have a lounge that was just out of warranty with the fake leather starting to crack, Dare refunded our $ towards a new and different design and fabric. they were fantastic. P.S. NEVER buy from Freedom they treat you like a you have the plaque... when you make a complaint about their cheap and nasty products.
I purchased the spacey1000 sofa from Dare Gold Coast. They contract Montana Transport Services to deliver furniture to customers. On arrival the removalists dragged my oversized cushions up the stairwell without any consideration to damage. The removalists tried to get the sofa up the stairwell but it would not fit. They organised another day to do a balcony lift. Unfortunately I was not present for this as I had to work so I got a family member to let them in. During the balcony lift the removalists used absolutely no protection to cover my sofa. This of course tore a hole in the sofa and made it looked worn on both armrests. Now I have a $4000 sofa that looks used and both Dare and Montana Transport Services are not willing to do anything about it. We wait 8 weeks for this sofa and paid $4000 after delivery. It's simply not good enough.
What a bunch of liars and thieves. Don't believe them when they say you can't have your money back and must only have a store credit. And don't believe the Manager Keely when she hand writes on your credit note that your credit will be honoured. They've pocketed $539 of mine and the goods didn't even leave their outlet!! They've now been taken over by Focus on Furniture who initially said they'd honour my credit both verbally and in writing, but have now changed their mind. Dodgy as hell!!!
