If you're homesick for the UK or even missing  a proper English pub, The George absolutely hits the spot. It's a great place for a drink and feed all year round, with covered outdoor areas for summer and a real open fireplace in the cooler Canberra months.

Beers from classics to craft so bases are covered across the board. Excellent pub style menu with some real traditional gems if you have a good look.

Great pub, understandably the food can take a while when busy. However there's a sign to let you know how long the wait is before ordering! Good work George!

Food was nice. Service not so good. Nice place for an easy lunch, definitely would go back. Overall lacked a bit of polish.

Nice for a Sunday Lunch however the food is expensive and hit and miss.  The kitchen needs a good clean. Disappointing.

Great venue with 21 beers on tap, that's right, 21 beers on tap!!! Good staff, decent food and great atmosphere.
