Story

The Furniture Trader is a family owned business that sells an extensive range of well designed, great quality furniture at exceptionally low prices.

In 1999 we opened our store in Epping Victoria and has become a well know location for furniture shoppers in Melbourne.

In December 2013 we opened our Dandenong Store - one of Melbourne's single biggest furniture showrooms!

Our ever expanding range includes classic and contemporary solid timber furniture, such as entertainment units, buffets, coffee tables, lamp tables and dining suites as well as a wide range of fabric lounges, bedroom and home office furniture.

Our large on-site Epping warehouse means most of our furniture is in stock and ready for immediate delivery or pick-up. We import most of our products in bulk - direct from manufacturers.

Our streamlined business model and low overheads mean we can provide high quality furniture at much lower prices than our competitors.

Now with our Webstore, we offer cheap and fast delivery to your home at the click of a mouse, bringing great value and service through online shopping.

We ordered $3200 worth of bedroom furniture 2 out of 4 products were damaged and faulty. We ordered assembly and delivery. Delivery driver could not assemble the king size bed as it was faulty. And left it opened in very messy way in the garage for us deal with it. Contacted the store immediately, firstly the staff was very rude while addressing the concern and only could say we cannot help you. We were told to contact the customer care who had no contact with the store sales team. A series of email have been sent and still no fix for the issue. We dont have a bed to sleep still. If I can give negative rating, i would give it to them. Please take the review seriously and please dont buy from them.

They were patient with my selection process, gave me honest advice, and even worked out the best delivery dates that suited me. The quality of the couches is amazing, and I’m so happy with the service. Truly appreciate the effort and support – highly recommend to anyone looking for great furniture and exceptional customer service!
