Although it was very early, I still had to wipe down the table as there was still food stuck to it. Not the best start. My cappuccino was more of a flat white. My favourite part of one is the froth and there was none. I did enjoy the breakfast burger and it was probably the only good thing about the experience. Service was pretty disappointing as I stood waiting for some time while the two girls chatted away. Doesn’t hurt to give a little acknowledgment.
Big fan of The Coffee Club however, we won’t be returning here anytime soon. Service took ages. Food quality was poor as was presentation. Breakfast, poached egg came out boiled. Seriously, you need to use a food grade bleach and soak all your coffee cups as they are absolutely filthy dirty. Takeaway cups would have been more hygienic.
I ordered the cheeseburger which comes with chips. The chips I received were burnt and stale as if they were re-fried. I went up and asked for a partial refund and the most they could give me was $3.10. The lady then walked away and I asked if I could get more cause the chips was half my meal and it was ruined. A different person came and offered me a drink and seemed like he actually tried to compensate me. The first lady as she walked off had a big smile and walked to the kitchen and handed the chefs the meal. I could see through the window that the chefs were smiling as if it was a joke or funny to them. What a joke of a chef team. Never go to this coffee club ever. Disrespectful.
Really love their hot chocolate at this cafe. I can’t comment on their food as I’ve only bought hot chocolate from them, and it has been consistently delicious. It is also very sweet of the staff who would always offer you a tray when you buy 2 cups or more, as it can be very hot to hold the paper cups. Thank you.
Ridiculous!! Have never visited a brunch that serves the salad like this… just a few spinach and avocado with black spotsnot fresh! and a few cauliflower which was less than a half of the picture on their ad. The cost would be less than $2 and they charges $18, not even provide a bit more veggies, the food even fill 1/3 of the plate. Ridiculous and shameless. Would never visit again.
Worst pancake I’ve ever had in my entire life. They don’t make fresh pancakes, only heat frozen one that come from their supplier! Don’t waste your money, the one you buy from coles tastes even better. Below average coffee over pricey. What a joke this service is.
Went here yesterday and we had the mango frappé, chicken bacon Camembert grill, chicken mushroom truffle grill. They were freshly prepared and grilled, a little bit of wait but came really fresh, hot and yummy!
Love this place. Fresh juice is my favourite. Way better than places like boost. Food here is fresh and very reasonably priced.
Customer service is hot to a coffee club standard My expectations of coffee club is now lowered after visiting this place Dirty tables and no hand sanitiser available any where in this store Poor Hygiene Must work on staff attitude as well as cleanliness
I recently had the displeasure of visiting the Coffee Club Spencer St Outlet Centre and was thoroughly disappointed with my experience. By far the worst coffee club or cafe that I've been to, in a long time. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a manager who was rude and condescending, showing no willingness to accommodate my dietary requirements. This set the tone for the rest of my visit. The staff were equally unprofessional, walking past dirty tables without a second thought and slamming plates of food onto the table. This was not only rude but also disruptive to other customers. Despite my repeated attempts to get the attention of the staff, they seemed disinterested in their job and unwilling to provide any form of customer service. The food itself was a huge letdown. The dishes were bland and overpriced, offering little value for money. To make matters worse, the cafe is situated next to a toilet and a car park, exposing customers to unpleasant exhaust fumes. This was a huge turn-off for me and added to the overall negative experience. It was clear that the Coffee Club Spencer St Outlet Centre is more concerned with exploiting travelers than providing a quality dining experience. The prices were exorbitant, especially considering the poor quality of the food and service. I was shocked and disappointed, and feel that there are far better options in Melbourne for those looking for a good cafe and a friendly atmosphere. Melbourne is the King city when it comes to coffee. Don't bother going to this substandard place. In conclusion, I would not recommend the Coffee Club Spencer St Outlet Centre to anyone. The poor service, rude staff, and unpleasant atmosphere are enough to deter even the most patient of customers. Save yourself the hassle and choose a different cafe in Melbourne.
