I was referred to the Clinic following a medical assessment and saw Prof Carr-White. I was shocked initially when my GP said that I needed to get checked out and was not looking forward to seeing a consultant and was nervous and quite panicked. I found Prof Carr-White to be very professional and listened to what I had to say. He has a quiet, calm and informed manner which is really very reassuring. Treatment and follow-up was very efficient. The communication with the team is easy and speedy. I would definitely recommend the Prof and clinic.
Brilliant service, communications and follow-up. I have been extremely impressed by the Cardiac Clinic - particularly with communications and follow ups, as these can sometime stall treatment, but they have been timely and clear. Arrive around 30 minutes early, as there is a registration process to go through prior to your appointment.
Enjoyed my annual appointment today following my operation 4 years ago - these sessions are really helpful to me giving reassurance that my health is back on track. I very much value the close relationship I maintain with Dr Clapp - his knowledge of my history helps him give excellent, personalised advice.
I cannot speak highly enough about Dr Brian Clapp and his team. He impresses with the depth and breadth of his cardiac knowledge and learning, his bedside manner is reassuring and pleasing and he is 100% on your side.
Professional and efficient service delivered in a courteous and warm manner. Dr Clapp has been my Cardiologist since 2009 and I would highly recommend him for his expertise and approach.
The Clinic is well organised with a professional and friendly service from everyone. Dr Clapp was fantastic, very professional and I had my health condition, options and PFO closure procedure well explained which gave me a lot of comfort. Dr Clapp also performed my PFO closure and I would rate him and his team in the highest regard and recommend his services.
Telephone consultation 19.08.2022. Very happy to speak again to Dr. Clapp who had inserted a stent to OM1 of my circumflex artery in October 2009. This consultation was to ask his opinion on a proposed TAVI procedure which I had been offered by his colleagues at St. Thomas Hospital I greatly value his opinion.
Friendly and well organised team of consultants, nurses and support staff. Very happy with the overall experience and quality of care.
I have been attending the Cardiac Clinic since 1993 when I had a Coronary artery bypass at roughly 2 yearly intervals with 3 different Cardiologists. My present Cardiologist for the past 4years is Professor Gerald Carr-White and I have found him to be very professional and a good listener to my current issues which are thankfully minor and well actioned by the Cardiac Clinic Medical Team.
Prof Carr-White has been very thorough and excellent in providing a clear explanation of my condition. If you have a heart concern I would highly recommend being seen here.
