Highly convenient for all sorts of general medicine. I've been coming here on and off for 20 years. I've always found the receptionists pleasant & doctors knowledgeable. I also have a regular GP elsewhere who knows me individually - but I have to wait 2 weeks for an appointment & she takes holidays & doesn't work weekends. These guys (24 hr Medical) fill in the gaps. Reviewers who complain about waiting are being unreasonable. Be sensible - phone for an appointment so most of your waiting is at home rather than in their centre. And be grateful that they are open evenings, nights & weekends. My only grumble is that the centre didn't contact me with my test results, I had to email or go in for them, which hadn't been made clear to me.

Booked an appt n made to wait. A gentleman who had the same appt time as me had been seen at the appt time n was long gone while I was still made to wait. It depends on how u look n whether the reception staff feel u will be upset over waiting whether u get seen on time. Don't bother booking an appt their useless. Dr didn't even look at my concern n brushed off what I said. Do not waste ur time going here. PATHETIC PRACTICE!

I have only ever experienced wonderful trearment by the Doctors and reception people in this establishment. Perhaps those who complain so freely should be a little more grateful to these overworked professionals and understand that they too may not be feeling 100% well themselves. Dealing with sick people day in and day out, they are most likely picking up all the random germs that their patients carry into the surgery. It appears to me that whinging about people who are trying to help is terribly ungrateful. Rant over.

I was a bit sceptical to go to this place after read all the bad reviews but i was thinking it just maybe some people just have bad day or something, soo I was a bit gambling to took my daughter for a vaccination in the evening, called before we went. The staff said that's fine just walk in. After seeing thw doctor we had to wait for the nurse. They didn't know where she was, after waiting nearly an hour for the nurse she says she can't do the vaccine in the evening. If that was the case wouldn't the doctor already know this and told us to come at an earlier time. The doctor even came to tell us they were trying to find the nurse. Wasted a total of two hours. What a disorganized place. Hoping with this review and all the bad reviews that they already have make the government or any health institutions in cairns take action or at least make notice to the management to improve they work skill and improve their attitude towards the customer.
