Many years ago now that Dr Mousa looked after me. Very thorough and exceptional skills. Make sure that you have a clean bowel though for colonoscopy. He doesn't take kindly to patients who haven't done their best to clear their bowel .... guilty. :-
My Gastroenterologist from 16 years ago. Now moving back to Cairns from Townsville and look forward to having him as my Gastroenterologist again. He has done surgery for me years ago and was fantastic. Straight to the point and exactly what I like! Highly recommend him
An unsociable surgeon, and while professional, quite stuck in his ways. his receptionists were kind, but while i spoke to him i got the distinct impression he thought me unintelligent and my questions a waste of his time. I was told a laparoscopic hernia repair was not viable, as there was 'not enough room'???, and that mesh was a poor choice. while i can understand that mesh can cause complications later, tension repair seems to have a higher failure rate. Unfortunately the tension repair he performed broke without warning or reason, an opinion given to me by another doctor when i informed him of the circumstances in which it did break. this new doctor then recommended laparoscopic repair with mesh funnily enough, which performed much better than the original tension repair from dr. mousa. don't be stupid like me, get a second opinion at the very least. I'd have an extra $7000 if i had done so to begin with.
Dr Mousa saved my husband's life. He is extremely thorough and professional. Highly recommended!
What a gentle and kind man. Trusted him very quickly. His staff are friendly and chatty and also very helpful. Cannot and will not ever complain. Can’t wait to have operation done!!
