Found in the heart of the Yarra Valley, we embrace zany like our wood fired pizzas exude flavour, the core of our food philosophy.

Story

The Bodhi Tree is a quirky little restaurant found in the charming town of Healesville located in The Yarra Valley that has been open for business almost fifteen years this year! A family run business since its inception we take pride in delivering good food with flavours we know and love and a pleasant atmosphere in which to enjoy it.

Situated within The Yarra Valley wine region of Victoria there is a tremendous amount of attractions and goings on all within a short drive including the Healesville Sanctuary, Hedgend Maze, Healesville Racecourse, the TarraWarra Museum of Art, Yarra Ranges National Park, Maroondah Reservoir Park and Monthly Craft Markets on the first Sunday of every month. With innumerable wineries in the surrounding area that also offer wine-tastings and tours, when escaping to the rolling green hills and vineyards of the Yarra Valley it is the perfect accompaniment to a weekend away with family, friends or significant others.

Walk-ins are welcome, however we recommend booking as we cannot guarantee openings, particularly on weekends. For reservations on the larger side, upwards of 20, we encourage set menu options so be sure to discuss this when reserving a table.

We came here based on reviews last night and it did not disappoint. The lamb pizza was delicious! Staff were so friendly and accommodating. Great kids options as well. I had a lovely martini alongside dinner.nThe atmosphere is unique, fun and very welcoming. A great spot for families, groups, couples. We highly recommend it, and look forward to coming back for the pizzas!
Let me just simply put it this way.nThe food was beautiful, fresh and delicious. Pizza one of the best ove ever had.nThe service was fantastic. Super welcoming cozy arrangements with blankets and fire.nnGive this place a go.
We weren’t sure that this place would deliver when we walked in - it’s a very casual and a unique set up. But the food was amazing. Pizzas, as good as you get! And what I was most pleased with is the kids ‘nuggets’ weren’t just processed crap. It was real chicken strips!! Staff were great too. And the complimentary bread and herb butter - fantastic and delicious. Thank you.
What a unique place, it is beautifully decorated, has a very rustic, ancient yet warm feel to it. It gives both cosy & social vibes. Tried the woodfired Calabrese Salami Pizza and the Mexican Woodfired Corn. The pizza was authentic, though they use hot salami & green chillies, it was not spicy at all, so must try for non spicy lovers. The crust was crispy not dry, the toppings were plenty & well worth for a $22 pizza. The corn cobs came with lime slices & feta cheese which paired beautifully with the Mexican seasoning sprinkled on the corn cobs. Also tried their Funky Chai, it came with a honey on side & tasted like a nice cinnamon chai. The service was quick & attentive. Do try this restaurant if going past Healesville.
I have ON MANY occasions driven 1.5 hours + from Melbourne just for this pizza!!!!!nnThe vibes are immaculate, the food is so good especially the pizza and everyone is so lovely.nnI can’t wait to come back again!!!!!!! Thanks Bodhi Tree team!!!
