Had an amazing single vineyard wine tasting session led by one of the wine connoisseurs Robin. Appreciate the in-depth introduction of wines and we have learnt a lot about the wines in this very modern and chill environment. Highly recommended !
The new look Giant Steps cellar door is sleeker, cosier and gorgeous. Well worth a stop if you are in town and a fan of great Yarra Valley Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Syrah and my personal new favourite their Rose which has this seductive fragrance that invites you to keep coming back for another sip.nnTwo different offerings are available with more casual tastings happening downstairs which can start from $15 to $25 depending on which range you taste.nnUpstairs can be booked for more indulgent private tastings. The courtyard upstairs is stunning, with plans for woodfire pizzas, wines by the glass.nnParking can be found very easily at the Coles or down a side-street nearby. Right across from Coles on the main St of Healesville cannot be missed.
My daughter and I had a wonderful Single Vineyard tasting. The host was so knowledgeable. I would highly recommend.
Anything dog-friendly indoors is ten stars. It really adds to the cellar door experience. The Pinot noirs at this place are exceptional. The applejack, sexton and fatal shore were our favourites.
Had a fabulous private tasting of 3 singlw vineyard Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs with the fabulous Nicole, who showed her passion and knowledge without any reservation. It is a fantastic tasting that shows how the Terroir can influence the wine. The comte cheese was an absolute treat. A must visit winery when in Healesville. Superb winemaking.
