About

The Beach Hotel is the last stop off the No.1 South Melbourne tram. We have a restaurant, tapas bar with ocean views, spacious beer garden and three function spaces.

Story

The Beach showcases a wide range of beers and ciders on tap and by the bottle, a great range of reds, whites and sparkling wines by the glass. Our kitchen is cooking delicious meals, tapas and share plates every day of the week.

The Main Bar and Restaurant spaces have beachfront views, and our dining room offers full table service. The Beer Garden is the largest outdoor licensed area in any beachfront venue in Melbourne.

HAPPY HOUR Fridays from 4pm-7pm - Includes cheap basic spirits, house wines and beers on tap.

Certainly a convenient location for food and a place to hang near the volleyball courts. I give them 3 stars for that and the clean atmosphere. The food and staff could use work though. A group of us came in for an early dinner and were met with a bartender who seemed as though our patronage was an inconvenience to her, despite being the only ones there. The parma and salmon were well overpriced for their lack of quality and none of us had good chips with our orders. I would say they should re-evaluate their kitchen. A quick walk further up the block will yield much better food for much lower prices.

Great place for a cold beer on a scorching hot day, very close to the beach and restaurants.

A great place to come to view the bay, there's a playground for the kids & there's cafes & restaurants nearby, check it out, it's well worth it. A great family day out.
