Joined before covid after living close by for 37 years. Great food spectacular views & a happy ambience. Yes , you clear your dishes away, but hey you do get a crunchy bread roll! Drinks are much cheaper..& there is a ramp for disabled challenges. Parking is tough on warm days & the club is only open 4 days , with many special occasions occurring.. going solo is not too bad , with great verandas covered all around. You almost feel you are sitting on the beach! This is a true blue fishing yachting club, that now has a wonderful venue for wining/dining on the beach! Just find it a little hard to make bookings via their systems? Anyway happy to be a member in such a relaxed old school club! You need to be accompanied by a member to visit.
This club is quite lovely. The views are nice and the service is friendly. You must be accompanied by a member.
Great views . wonderful well priced food. All served from the newly renovated kitchen. Soon a new pergola over the rhs deck. Where an outside BBQ will be available. Smoking now banned on the premises including the decks. Great bay views and as it's right on the beach.alongside the jetty . It's great to watch the bridal parties getting their special photos taken. As a venue for a function. Highly recommend. Members venue and their guests always welcome.
Great view but not greatly impressed by the quality of the food and having to clean up the plates and glasses yourself. A local pub would be just as good.
A few years back I was a member of the Albert Park Yachting and Angling Club APYAC, popularly known as "the Angler’s”, and we really enjoyed going there. My regular overseas trips got in the way and unfortunately I stopped going. It's a great club in a perfect bayside location, right beside the Kerferd Rd Pier, and with stunning beach and bay views. We loved sitting on the beachside deck having our fish n chips lunch or dinner on a beautiful sunny balmy day while enjoying amazing views of Port Phillip Bay. The food and drink are great and at reasonable prices for members. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. It's heaps better now that the kitchen has been renovated. The APYAC can also be hired and is just an absolutely perfect setting for private functions such as weddings, parties, and breakfasts, as well as business functions and fund raising events.
Great place for a meal and drink on weekends.
A members club and I was a guest. Very reasonably priced pub style food and drink. Lovely position on the Bay on a nice day.
Work function....great food and awesome location
Nice place for a winter evening. Very reasonable prices.
