My partner and I had our engagement party at the Sandbar over the weekend. It was truly magical, we couldn’t have asked for a better night!nCallum and the rest of the team were absolutely incredible at running the evening, everything happened so seamlessly. We had so much positive feedback from the guests, they all said how professional, friendly and helpful the staff were.nThe venue looked SO BEAUTIFUL and we had so many compliments about what an amazing venue it was.nThere was ample amounts of food, everyone said they were well fed which is exactly what we wanted. We ordered a canapés package, and added wood fired pizzas and chips. And everyone with dietary requirements were taken care of too with no extra costs to us!nThey allowed us to have an extra 30 mins of set up time and bring our own dessert stand. The communication before and during the event with staff made the event run so smoothly, my fiancé and I were able to enjoy every minute.nWe truly couldn't have asked for a better night! Thank you so much to the team at the sandbar for everything! You guys were amazing and we had the best night ever!!
Excellent service and atmosphere. The food was good nothing really stood out, typical cafe food. We had the two specials tacos, avo smash and omelette. The omelette lacked a bit of heat and or texture and the tacos lacked a little flavour.nI will definitely return for drinks and snacks, great location.nThank you
We honestly couldn’t be happier with the whole experience of having our engagement at the sandbar! Laura the events coordinator was super organised, punctual with every email, and so patient with all the changesnnA huge shout-out to the team on the night, the food was incredible! We had so many compliments from friends and family about how delicious everything was, and the food service was so consistent that no one was left hungry. Massive thanks to the chefs for such a beautiful spread!nnJim and Callum were both so friendly and attentive, making sure the night ran smoothly and that we felt like total VIPs. Marnu, our waiter, was the sweetest, he always smiling and making sure every guest was looked after. I especially appreciated him coming up to remind us to eat we were so caught up entertaining, we might have forgotten!.nAnd thank you to Lauren, our waitress, who received so many compliments for her friendly energy and willingness to help with any last-minute changes.nnThank you again to the entire Sandbar team for helping us celebrate such a special milestone. Great breakfast spot. Been meaning to come for a while and so glad I finally did. Staff were friendly and helpful & service was so quick for busy Saturday morning.nHad the veggie option of chilli scrambled eggs and breakfast burger.nWill definitely be back!
We honestly cannot thank the team at The Sandbar enough for the incredible service we received on our wedding day!nnFrom our very first booking with Caitlin and Laura right through to the big day, the entire process was completely seamless. They made the planning phase so easy and stress-free.nnOn the day itself, Sarah, the duty manager, was absolutely fantastic. She was such a pleasure to work with, and her team was incredibly professional from start to finish. We were truly blown away by everyone—the waitstaff and bar team were so attentive, the security staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the food was just incredible.nnIf you are looking for a venue for a special event, we cannot recommend The Sandbar highly enough. They made our wedding day feel so magical and run so smoothly. Thank you all for everything!
