The Sandbar has a beautiful vibe; I usually go there in the mornings with my friends and we always enjoy it.nnBut this time, my meal never made it to the table. I asked one waiter and he didn’t pay attention. I spoke to another and he never came back.nnThat’s what frustrated me the most — taking the time to go there, placing my order, and still not receiving good service. I watched everyone eat while I just sat and waited. In the end, I had to find my own food: they had left my coffee on one table and my chicken focaccia on another — with no call, no notice. I was hungry, I had exercised… and that lack of care really hurt.nnI hope the service returns to the standard the place deserves.
Another hot day in summer. However, it's a cool place with a sea breeze while having brunch at the Sandbar. The smoked brisket benedict with potato hash was very tasty. Poached egg and bacon done well. This was just perfect with superbly balanced coffee. Throw in the beach view and you couldn't ask for more.
Absolutely beautiful location and delicious food. I cannot recommend this place enough. The view is amazing, the staff is friendly and the food is great. We had the calamari and the fish and chips. The portions were filling.
The dining experience was exceptional; my mother enjoyed a breakfast burger accompanied by hash browns, my aunt ordered a chicken pesto roll, my cousin had a ham and cheese croissant with bacon on the side, my grandfather chose calamari and prawns, while I opted for the big breakfast. For beverages, we ordered a chocolate milkshake and several coffees, which were delightful. This café is an ideal spot for brunch or breakfast, featuring prompt service and remarkably friendly staff who welcomed us upon arrival, and our meals were served in under ten minutes.
I enjoyed my chicken poke bowl. It was a generous serving and tasted yummy. There was like a 30 minute wait for the coffee after our food arrived. The chips and toasted ham croissant was also good. I would come back and recommend. The view of the beach is lovely. It's a lively spot.
