Being right on the water's edge, this cafe has great views and is just perfect for breakfast, brunch, lunch or simply a coffee or beer or glass of wine. The range of food to choose from is limited but reasonable and the coffee is excellent.

It's not a large place but does have a deck area out the back which is great if you have kids as they can play in the sand right there in front of your very eyes. It's great on weekdays but more than often packed on weekends but given it's beach side location, I guess that's to be expected. 

It's also a great location for private functions such as birthdays, corporate dos, wedding ceremonies, and cocktail and hot and cold canapes type receptions. 

The main downsides for me are:

(1) you have to order at the counter, 
(2) the place is a bit noisy, and 
(3) while it opens at 8am, it closes early, 4:30pm on weekdays and 5pm on weekends. 

Tip: If you're driving then park on the opposite side of Beaconsfield Parade where it's 4-hour parking. Another option is to take the tram on route 12 and get off at stop 136 on the corner of Danks and Mill Street and then walk across to the beach.

Great views to beach outside seating with complimentary blankets for chilly days
 Quick service great tasting coffee and very helpful staff. Definitely recommend

Always a good spot for some chill time whilst admiring the beautiful beach. Also a good spot for me to take visitors when they're in Victoria as it's yummy food and showcases the coast line. Disappointed the pancakes aren't on the menu anymore but the other menu items are just as delicious!

Good to stop here for a coffee break on a nice walk along the foreshore. Great to sit out the front or out the other side by the sand. And importantly good coffee and always lots of newspapers to read 👀📰☕️🙌🏻
