Recently dined at Atta Restaurant with my mum and dad, who were visiting from overseas, and it was such a memorable experience.nnThe ambience was warm, elegant, and inviting, perfect for a relaxed family dinner. While all the food was beautifully presented, the garlic naan was the absolute star — honestly, the best I’ve ever had. Soft, fresh, and perfectly garlicky — truly unforgettable.nnSome dishes like the Channa Chur Garam and Dum Murgh Biryani didn’t quite meet our expectations, and the dessert was a bit too sweet for my taste — though presentation-wise, they all looked great. However, what truly stood out was getting the chance to chat with Harry Dhanjal, one of the main chefs and a founder of Atta. He was incredibly polite, well-spoken, and passionate about his craft. We were seated just beside the kitchen and loved watching him work his magic — such a treat to see someone so engaged and dedicated.nnBeautiful setting — definitely worth a visit.
Great venue with a really good range of cocktails. Authentic food and well presented. The highlight was the slow cooked Raan which melted in my mouth and had such an amazing burst of flavours. The charcoal chicken was really good too. Desserts just took this place to another level with a well crafted Bharat shaped shahi tukda and gulab jamun, which I've never had in any of my Indian dining experiences in Melbourne.
Absolutely incredible food and service. Exquisite dishes I’ve never had and would travel hundreds of kilometres to eat again. Charcoal chicken blew my mind, but everything was 10/10.
absolutely loved the ambience. one of those places where good and tasty food is served with elegance. each and every dish is known for its own taste and unique twist. i love their take on gol gappas where they added like popping lemon pearls but didnt really hit the palette well. from chicken to paneer everything was very nice and juicy. 10/10 for the service and attention to the details.
Great experience dining at Atta last night. Amazing food, great service, friendly staff and peaceful ambience. We tried a lot of items and the platters looked so beautiful that we hardly remembered to take any pictures, I managed to get a few and upload them for reference. The charcoal chicken was unique and tasted delicious. It indeed is towards the pricey end but worth every penny spent.nCheers!
