Super lovely and hospitable! We enjoyed flavourful sake, paired with our waiters recommendation which became my favourite. Amazing service as well! It has been a while since I have felt this level of comfort when dining out. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly which made our night very special.
The atmosphere was so good and calm.nThe staff were very friendly and smiling.nThe food was good too but a few were overpriced, however overall was a good experience and would like to go again
Very long standing establishment with good Japanese food in a busy neighbourhood. Restaurant was packed on the night but they were sure to give good service and prompt the food out as soon as possible. The sashimi was my favourite here followed by the gyozas.
Spectacular!nnSushi and sashimi were on par to some of the better Japanese restaurants in Japan.nnEntrees was great, very well cooked and great size. Chicken kaarage was fried perfectly with thin coating. Soft shell crab was great. Gyozas were juicy, with thin pastry and a great dipping sauce. Tempura prawn was also great.nnWe didn’t need the main but the steak was superb. Perfectly cooked, sauce was on point.nnUnfortunately there are no drinks outside of wine and beers. The staff were lovely and accommodated with plum wine and yuzu cocktail, so if this is a very minor suggestion- cocktails would be great.nnOverall the team are so friendly and accommodating. We were sitting at the bar and then moved to a table seamlessly, even without a booking.nnWe hope to be back soon!
One of favourites in Melbourne. Great food and ability for shared plates. Reasonably priced, good wine list.
