Wednesday to Saturday from 5:30pm
Sunday lunch midday-3pm reopen dinner 5.30pm until late

The vision behind our beloved Bach Eatery concept,
is a story of where and how we grew up in New Zealand.
A lot of our childhood memories have influenced the
construction of what the Bach is today.
Inspired by our kiwi summer days.

Love it! This place uses high quality New Zealand produce cooked simply and executed very well to let the ingredients itself shine, leaving a clean taste. Flavours are subtle but not bland, not overly salty or overpowering.. you can tell the chefs pay respect to the food. So yummy!! Small menu but very well considered as I wanted to try everything on there! Serving sizes are quite generous for their very reasonable price point. Service is attentive, friendly and just right. A great place for date night or a small group of friends place is pretty small so anything more than 2 will be communal dining. Wed & Sun allows for BYO I think. Highly recommend and will definitely return!
Choice as!!! Being a kiwi, it's nice to have a little atmosphere and flavours of home while you are in Newtown, Sydney. The food was amazing! The place is BYO which kicks ass and means you can buy more delicous food! The customer service was next level particularly the cuddly semi-balled guy with the big smile, you know who you are... We loved you. Everyone who served us appeared to love their job, and they oozed out love and care to make sure we had everything we need. Definitely a place to check out.
Amazing food to share in a cool atmosphere and excellent service. The waiters are very friendly and attentive to details. We went there almost by chance and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The fig, burrata and walnut salad is to die for.
Absolutely delicious food from the “trust the chef” menu. Definitely planning to come back. The interior is very cozy and lots of fun decorations. The staff were lovely and accommodating with dietary requirements. Also it is pronounced “batch” according to the sign, as it is named after a type of Kiwi holiday house and not the musician!
Cute little eatery with very pleasant staff and owner. Awesome food. Lamb is something you do not want to miss.

Great food and service. Staff were specifically very attentive. Flavours are complimented well on each dish. I wouldn't rave about it, but certainly recommend if you're in the area. The interior is lovely.

Excellent little place on King Street with a great variety of tasty dishes! The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Get the banquet menu chef's specials or something I think it's called and you'll be treated to a feast of various awesome dishes. Been here a few times now and it's never failed to impress. A must!
