I had surgery on my foot 2 weeks ago. The staff were lovely and very efficient. Busy operating theatres but the pre op room was like a big well oiled machine!! The rooms are very nice, decorated well. The food was pretty good too.
I couldn’t be more impressed with my experience at The Avenue! From the excellent private space and food to the incredibly attentive and personable staff, everything exceeded my expectations. A huge thank you to all the nurses who took care of me before and after my surgery: Jenny, Nat, Emma, Ben, Michelle, Helen, Jen, and Alys—you were all amazing
The food is 1 star!nnA family member had a 2-night stay at The Avenue hospital recently. There was building work at the time, so the hospital was not at its best - which is understandable. The nurses were all good. However the low rating is due to the food which was terrible! We have been to other private & public hospitals. The Avenue food is even worse than from the public hospital. Please improve your catering service.
Top stars to the team at day surgery. I had my one year post gastric bypass and the team were outstanding. From wonderful Fiona who took me through everything, to Dr Aileen mohajery my anaesthetist who was brilliant and of course my surgeon Dr Lara freeman needless to mention 10 stars. The nurse I woke up to starting with a K sorry can’t remember her name was lovely as well.nThank you for everything
EVERY single person I interacted with was kind, lovely and so gentle. I felt so cared for and safe which really helped me recover quickly. They care. The room was lovely, and even the cafe delivered fresh coffee from downstairs in a jiffy. Just a beautiful staff.
