Teneriffe Family Doctors is an AGPAL Accredited General Practice and is comprised of 6 female Doctors and 3 male Doctors.
Our Services
At Teneriffe Family Doctors all our doctors are vocationally registered and continue to update their clinical skills and knowledge regularly. They aim to provide the highest comprehensive care to their patients regardless of age, sex, or culture. Should you require an interpreter service during your consultation, please let our friendly reception staff know, and they will organise this before you see the doctor.

Referrals
As referrals cannot be backdated, please ensure you have an up to date referral prior to your specialist appointment. A new referral to your specialist is generally required every 12 months and can be obtained through an appointment with one of our general practitioners.
Failure to have a valid referral will result in you losing the Medicare rebate entitlement for the specialist appointment.
Repeat Pathology Requests, Scripts and referrals
If you require a repeat script or referral please use our online services located on our website (http://www.teneriffedoctors.com.au/) to request the repeat. This may incur an $12.50 administration fee.
A consultation is required for repeat prescriptions unless previously discussed with the Doctor. e.g. when your 6 month script runs out, you are often due for a blood pressure check.
Any script requests not requiring a consultation will be filled within 1 - 5 business days.
Reminders
We have a reminder system for important health issues e.g. pap smears, immunisation etc. Please let the doctor know if you would like to opt out of this system.
