I liked this style of Op Shop because there is SO MUCH random stuff yes you’ll have to rummage but you’ll more than likely find something that takes your fancy. All items I looked at had price tags. Yes it’s cluttered, but unless you have mobility issues then it’s not a problem. I’m happy to support cats in any way
Store staff are lovely however that is not enough to make up for the stores presentation, cleanliness or safety standards. The proximity of the items and stuff all on the floor is an absolute trip hazard and lawsuit waiting to happen, not to mention it is incredibly unaccessible to those with mobility issues or aids. The store does have some hidden gems if you have the ability or determination to sieve through the abundance of trash, much of which is overpriced. I believe the store needs to offer an “everything $1” or “fill a bag for $5” weekend just to clear out the sheer amount of junk and start fresh, potentially being more selective of donations accepted and maintaining a cleaner, safer and more organised environment.
I didn’t experience any hostility from the staff, they were pleasant.nnIt’s a good rummage store, but like all op shops these days vintage/desirable items are priced high, although this particular shop isn’t geared towards high end items so that’s why it’s a good rummage spotnnAlso everything I looked at had a price tag… so I don’t think that’s an issue anymore
I encourage all members of the public to shop there as it's a very worthy cause
I do like this op shop but unfortunately a LOT of items never have a price tag and I have been made to feel like a criminal multiple times at the register when asking about the price. I would highly recommend Argyle street to this one. Less clutter and everything has a price tag!!!
