From initial booking until we walked out the front door, our entire experience was seamless. An igloo dinner to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. Everything was hassle free. Food and drinks were spot on. The atmosphere was great. The service fantastic. We will definitely be returning. Thank you Tele for a memorable family night.Food: 5/5
Last night staying in Hobart my husband felt like having a steak for dinner. I chose the Telegraph Hotel and I am very happy I did. The service was great, the decor was nice and the food was FABULOUS. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Higly recommend you try this place and if you love steak Monday night is steak night :Food: 5/5
I had the 'Harissa Spiced Pumpkin Salad' and 'Slow Roasted Cauliflower' - both very yummy. Great quality food, lots of flavour, and fresh ingredients.Food: 5/5
This place is really well done up. Gorgeous, cozy and clean interiors in the dining room. It's all very fitting for its harbourside location. Very nice atmosphere indeed. The scallop pie which was very reasonably priced was delicious! Enjoyed the evening very much! Kid-friendliness: Has a kids menu.
Tables on the rooftop bar so sticky it is disgusting to be honest. The plastic domes are a bit strange. Ground floor bar better and the cocktails were very nicely made and tasty. Liked the live music also.Service: 3/5
The menu offered a delightful variety of dishes, and I was particularly impressed with the quality and presentation of the food. my visit to the Telegraph Hotel Restaurant was highly enjoyable. Thank you for providing such a wonderful dining experience.Food: 5/5
We visited this place last year for lunch. The rooftop seating area is nice with great views of the Hobart waterfront. We had the chicken parmi with chips & fried white baits, both average tasting, bit pricey. There was plenty of drink options, we had the lemon & lime bitter.Food: 3/5
Great tasting pub food. The atmosphere was very relaxed and had comfortable seating. The rooftop area also had nice enclosed igloos for seating to protect from the elements. The food selection was also very good. We had ordered the steak, salmon, pork belly and lamb. All the dishes were delicious with a very generous serving. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location as well with a view of the harbour area. 100% recommended to visit.
We popped in here for dinner before heading home and the venue was really nice from what parts i saw of it. However the menu was very limited and the food was so expensive. To get a side of mash was an exta $11!!. We ordered via the app which i love and ordered drinks and a flat bread as starters. The flat bread didn't end up coming out until after we had already started eating our mains later on. The sides of mash also came out after the mains were served and were lumpy and the butter that was pictured being served with the mash had instead come out scraped onto the side of our main plates. The steak was burnt on the outside and undercooked on the inside. Overall the meal and drinks come to about $160 which is ridiculous considering what we got and how it was served. I won't be back and i don't want a pretend apology from the venue on here either. Just do better.
Wow the food was amazing especially the white bait and the cauliflower gnocchi. If my family and I lived in Hobart, this would be a place we would come to on a monthly basis! Thank you!Food: 5/5
