Amazing views of the ocean! The track is a little rough and covered in gorse in places. Easy enough track, but needs a little trimming maintenance.

Was looking for a good workout, and boy, i got one! Gorgeous views and very quiet. Walked all the way to O'Neil Beach and back, just under 6 hours. Bring lots of water, more than you think you will need! Pathway very overgrown, so keep an eye out for prickly plants, hidden holes, and some mushy mud. I did it in my tennis shoes, but my feet are definitely yelling at me for not wearing the hiking boots.

It's a good hiking trail for training. When you climb higher and higher, you will get the good view of Tasman sea. If you mind mud, don't go there after raining, or your shoes will be very dirty. If you go there during the summer, please carry enough water.

Its a really nice walk, takes 3 hours easy to come back from where you start, also bring tracking shoes is better way to enjoy the way.

Absolutely stunning walk. No toilets thought! We didn't make it all the way to Bethals so not sure if there are toilets at Bethals.
