Pre booked over 12 hours in advance, was guaranteed a priority pick up. No can arrived, no one contacted us, leaving us to travel over 4km with 40kg of luggage to the boat terminal as not to miss our cut off time. When I contacted the company, I was informed other jobs had been taken instead of ours & the 1 driver they had working was not responding. 0/10, no reliable cab service in Devonport.
Last night my husband and I were going out for drinks at a friends place. I called up at 2PM yesterday afternoon and made a booking for a 4pm taxi there and a midnight taxi home. The 4PM taxi was fine, it only arrived 10 minutes late. The midnight one however, we waited outside until 12:15AM, then called them up only for them to say that having a booking doesn't create any priority and that they're busy and one will be with us as soon as possible. Mind you it was raining pretty bad. We decided we didn't want to wait and walked home in the rain. I got a text message at 1:20AM saying our taxi had arrived, an hour and 20 minutes after our booking. How is that acceptable?
I took a taxi from Devonport City to the Spirit if Tasmania terminal. The screen said $14.20 but then when I went to pay it was $20.37. I asked why if the extra $6.00 was a normal charge and was told that it was. The taxi was filthy and the interior was tired and worn. I had searched for an Uber with quote of $11.00 but there were none available so I was forced to use a cab. I called to ask why there was a huge extra charge and was given a number to call. I called that number three times and no answer. I then emailed asking to clarify and have still no answer. NO WONDER PEOPLE USE UBER! I won’t be using a taxi again.
If I could give this a negative rating I would, unacceptable service. After being told that a taxi was on the way twice and waiting for nearly and hour and a half. Grubby taxi drivers just care about their take for the night not who has been waiting the longest, this business is beyond a joke.
Absolutely terrible taxi company waited 1 hour for a cab after estimated waiting time was 10 minutes went in side to grab my money which literally took 20 seconds and he had the audacity to complain? What a complete joke
My driver was on time. She knew where to go. Helped with the luggage. I was very pleasantly surprised as I'd read ALOT of negative reviews and rightly so! about the taxi services in Devonport.
Do not use this taxi service. Waited an hour and a half for a taxi that my mother booked but it never came, we were left standing in the freezing cold on the side of the road for a very long time. When a different taxi came we were denied service at the airport despite the fact the taxi was going to the location we needed to go. Trust me, don’t use this service. Horrible customer service.
Awful experience, the waiting time was long and they didn't inform me how long I have to wait, my battery was down, as I I am new to the place so I didn't know my way back home. Extremely poor service, if you are unable to offer service then please don't offer it. Had a terrible day
Booked a taxi for my daughter 2 and a half hours before it was needed, it wasn't sent out until I called to check once it was 15 minutes late, then it clearly wasn't already on route. My daughter was left waiting and was late. Staff were rude, they advised to call head office with complaints, but head office don't answer the phone or respond to answer phone messages. Terrible service.
Phoned for a Taxi at 9.17pm 4 phone calls later was picked up at midnight the worst experience ever. The guy the finally picked was lovely no reflection on him but the worst service ever
