I walked over from second Ave in the rain and the team who helped me today was so nice. They offered me a plastbag to cover the guitar, which I might add was already in a carry bag. Such excellent service and they made me feel so comfortable and was so easy to deal with. Thank you team, keep up the good work
Browsed the store, very good selection of instruments, staff were friendly, greeted me into the store, and asked if there was anything I was looking for
Bought a new fender guitar here. Rusty strings, dirty frets, played quite a bit. They did replace strings and tidy up but should have never left the shop like that.
Very helpful staff who were keen to assist us and making sure we got what we required
Walked in got a guitar for my kid.. My kid now plays the guitar.. Very effective and would definitely recommend

Tauranga Rockshop has had good service and knowledgeable staff for many years now. I appreciate being able to have a chat and seek information and other points of view when looking at and purchasing new gear. When not having any particular item in stick they're always happy to order it in. It would be nice to have more selection of products and accessories however I understand there needs to be the demand for this. Perhaps with Tauranga Musicworks closing down there'll be the demand to lease a larger shop. Anyway, I'm just rambling now to gain more Google rewards points. Great day today. Now I'm off to test out the new patch cables and strings I got. All products in this photo are Rockshop items.
Bought a ukulele there today. The shop had it transferred for us from Auckland at no cost. There was a small issue with the instrument and the salesman was super pro-active in making sure we got a different. better one. Great service. Also a wonderful selection of instruments, especially guitars and ukuleles.
