Beautiful place. There are 3 different walks to do ranging from 2 hours to 4. We did the coastal walk. It was beautiful. Even our 2 year old daughter enjoyed it although had to carry her up some of the steep hills. Was nice to see the coast at the top of the hill and the sheep. Don’t think the cows were too happy to see us!

Beautiful park with amazing views of the Coromandel. Unfortunately, the coastal track has not been maintained well. Grass was up to head-height in sections and track was barely visible for most of the way. Bring your weed wacker!

Great place for camping

Great place for family camping not far from Auckland. Also home to annual Splore festival every February. Camp is closed to public during the festival.
