Hunua Falls Camp for schools and local community groups is located just 300 metres from the famous Hunua Waterfalls.
We have accommodation for up to 120, great kitchen facilities, large hall and a beautiful chapel that both have great acoustics! Bush walks, Burma Trail, large playing field for games and a confidence course. For bookings: [email protected] or 09 411 9191

To provide a venue for schools and community groups where people can come to stay and enjoy the tranquil bush setting and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere that is so unique to Hunua Falls Camp.

Beautiful natural beauty of forest and stream with pine needles underfoot and sunshine filtering thru trees make for magical atmosphere for outdoor wedding.  Sweet little A-frame church chapel if you prefer indoors and recent upgraded kitchen to self cater. BYO and camp accommodation allows you to host a weekend party to celebrate  your wedding if you wish. JO the caretaker is lovely and accommodating

I dropped grandson off for a camp. Whilst I didn’t get to see the whole place, the facilities are excellent for kids to enjoy the outdoors. There is a fantastic obstacle course which was clambered over by number 2 grandson who was too young to stay overnight - he thoroughly enjoyed it and would have stayed much longer given half a chance. Location near Hurua Falls and very quiet and secluded. I’m sure the camp will be a great success.

Wouldn't recommend to anyone,booked room in house then we're told the owners were going on holiday so put us out in what we would call staff quarters, left milk outside in the heat,so went off. The room itself was dirty,a TV that didn't work a shower that was only strong enough to clean your big toe. And was still charged the full price.

Great place to have a camp and some quiet rest. The rooms and toilets are well cleaned and maintained, and all of the services in the building such as heaters work extremely well as expected. There is a lot of play area for children to go on, and at the back there is an awesome parkour course!

Awesome, awesome place. Just beautiful. St John use it a lot for training cadets. Would recommend Hunua Falls Christian Camp to anyone. Come see for yourself.....

Wrnt on a school camp there with my eldest son. Great place and good rome had by all. Lots of room for activities

One of the best place for camping. Since it is closed to the Hunua falls, it is more preferred. There is no mobile network. But if it helped for a good camp atmosphere.

Great staff and the camp is about to get a full revamp so looking forward to seeing it all looking amazing again... it will be awesome. KINDLY GEOFF

Such a great campsite! We run camps for about 50 kids aged 9 to 18 and this campsite always holds us comfortably.

Just an OK place for a weekend camp. The place is not well maintained especially the showers. There's not enough hot water for shower even for a three minutes' shower. The rooms are OK but the heating facilities during winter is a let down. The place is very near to the Hunua Waterfalls or it's within walkable distance. The camp has a beautiful Chapel within its campus.
