Nice stay.. we were there little bit late luckily we manage to get parking.. one of perfect camp site near to nz airport.. plus very friendly owner & staff
Nice large, peaceful country spot with helpful owners. A bit of traffic noise from the highway can be heard. But convenient to Auckland, Pukekohe and Miranda for daytrips. Has a big playground but not much else to do. The pool was empty for Winter. No TV/ games room for rainy days. Would be sad to lose as there's not many options around South Auckland.
Perfect for the last night before returning our campervan in Auckland. Playground and pool for the kids to keep them occupied while we were cleaning the vehicle. Facilities old but clean. Kitchen with pans, pots and other items. Very nice owners.
This place is about 20mins from Auckland airport and set in a semi rural surroundings. The amenities include male and female toilets, kitchen and laundry. All facilities are very clean and tidy. It's a great place to stop for the night on the way to Auckland.
Really good campsite close to Auckland and the cheapest too. Clean amenities, friendly staff and locals. Also a little shop next door that was handy to get supplies. Nice place to stop before dropping off camper/flying out from Auckland.
Great camp. Just needs kitchen expanded as not enough room for campers to cook or do the dishes. Great adventure playground. Clean and tidy cabins. Kids appreciated the pool and pool toys.
Such lovely, helpful guys, the only - is the bad wifi connection. 37$ for 2 adults + 1 2year old + powered site is perfectly fine. 2$ washing machine, 3$ dryer, free showers is all you need to know.
SHORT..... arrived about 2.30 to see a sign saying office would be open at 4.30 - just choose a site, so we did. We had checked previously to see if dogs were allowed and advised yes. We also rechecked our Motorhome Association book which also said dogs allowed. We plugged in electric, filled up water and waited for office to open. Went in and spoke to lady saying our little dog was with us and she immediately said “no dogs, you need to leave”. I advised that I had missed my flight earlier in the day and would be leaving at 6 am in the morning to get to airport. Sadly she just repeated “no dogs”. The site is almost empty, the dog is 12 years old, blind and very tiny, sleeping most of the time..... On top of that the sign in the toilet still says dogs by prior approval. So now my 67 year old sister and I are having to upcamp at 5:30 and find somewhere else to go. Sadly we will not be back, even without dogs as the lady was so. Cold and abrupt. Maybe she needs a happy pill
Beautiful setting, beautiful views very clean and tidy, very comfortable, really quiet even though near the Southern Motorway, well maintained and Management are truly friendly also reasonable tariff rates. Recommend to anyone.
9Nov16 Seasonably popular caravan park with some long-term stayers in a variety of mobile accommodations. One of my tenants decided to live in a bus that was parked here for months. There is a general store next door for bits and pieces and there are petrol stations at the top of the Bombay hills three kilometers south either on the motorway or by driving on Great South Road. Reasonable prices and very good location close to motorway.
