We were travelling back to Melbourne from Canberra and decided to stop at Tandoori Hut for dinner, going in with very low expectations. To our surprise, we were absolutely amazed by the food! We ordered Gobi Manchurian, Paneer Nawabi, chilli naan, and veg biryani, and everything was delicious. The Gobi Manchurian and Paneer Nawabi, in particular, were some of the best we've had, packed with great flavor and cooked to perfection. The chilli naan could use a bit of improvement, but the rest of the meal was outstanding. Definitely a pleasant surprise and a great place to stop if you're in the area!
The food here is actually pretty good. However, in the past few months the quantity of food has decreased while paying for the same amount. For instance, the nan bread. We ordered 2 and we received 1 nan bread cut in half. And the sweet dumplings use to come in 3, now 2. Indian food is expensive, and this reduced portion has made us consider other food options in the future. Please consider returning to your previous portions.
Not the greatest Indian I’ve ever hadn- not great service slow and forgetfuln- The entree was meant to come out first but it came out with our mains and was rubbery and gross not eatablen- we ordered 2 buttery chicken 1 was meant to be mild but both were very sweet and not the bestn- we also got a lamb dish that had bits of beefn- we ordered saffron rice which didn’t have much saffron in itn- lastly the cheese narn bread was not great eithernnSuch a shame
First time we've been here but will definitely go again. The food was absolutely delicious, we particularly loved the goat curry. We were able to choose the spice level of every dish. The naan were wonderful also with our 5 yr old loving his meal. Thanks for a lovely night.
Loved the food, staff was very friendly. They suggested the options based on our likings and questions. Look and feel has improved a lot better than few months ago.
