Just a quick bite to eat. Ordered off the lunch special menu. Food was good and the price was right.
Arrived at 6pm, had to go and find somone for a drink at 6.30pm & order a meal. In the meantime, they are shoveling takeaway out the door by the truck load. Up again at 7pm, where is our entree? Still doing the takeway train. 7.30pm the main course arrives. Food ok but nothing special. Depart 9pm with no discount for the worst service I have ever encountered. NEVER AGAIN. Employ staff to do the job. All patrons in the restaurant waited for service.
What a lovely place for the great Chinese food, love the owner being so sweet and welcoming.nFeeling so relaxed here.nAlso the food was pretty great. The prawn omelette taste so fluffy and so many prawns in it.nEggplant with garlic sauce is delicious, so great with steam rice. Also the restaurant look like old Chinese restaurant, give it an extra authentic feel.
Food was fresh and full of flavour, service was outstanding and the atmosphere was very warm and comfortable. A very enjoyable dining experience
I went here a week ago - ordered small special fried rice to take away. How disappointing- it was cooked rice no doubt put in wok and tossed with few fine bits of carrot, little pieces of some sort of meat, maybe pork and 3 shrimps. No egg, no peas, no flavour - and all for $8 .. I could have whipped up better.. the special fried rice here used to be just ok but this was not “special fried” - maybe dining in is served differently but Kim Wah has finally lost the plot.
