It should be convenient to be able to walk in the store to look at the power tools. Just wish they were unboxed and put on display. So check out the website first then come and pick up from the store.
My new device is broken and they don't care. The staff said I broke without even checking. Because I bought it online, they pushed each other away and sent me back to Sydney to fix it. I don't know what to do now, can anyone help me
Twice now I've bought tools online for click and collect at my local store, only to find out several weeks later after chasing them up that they are on back order and have no ETA, with the manufacturer not even having stock of the particular tools, let alone Sydney Tools having them in stock. The first time I waited 4 months before I took my money back. After getting my refund I went back on the site to see what they did actually have in stock, only to find out that the items I had been waiting 4 months for, were all still showing as "in stock". This time round I stupidly bought more tools via click and collect, albeit from a larger manufacturer, assuming that the last time must have just been a one off issue. Nope. Again they've left items marked as "in stock" when the manufacturer doesn't even have an ETA for the items. So now I've wasted another several weeks waiting for tools that may or may not arrive this year. Not only do they continue to leave items marked as "in stock" on the website when they clearly have no stock nor any idea when they will get more, but they also consistently fail to let you know that you're going to be waiting an indefinite amount of time for your tools until you chase them up about it. When asked why items are constantly marked as "in stock" when they very clearly aren't, and why they do nothing to inform their customers of the delays, the guy I spoke to basically shrugged and said it's the way the world is at the moment. Seemingly oblivious to the fact that my issue isn't with the wait time, rather the false expectations provided by Sydney Tools deceptive website and their lack of customer service.
I returned 2 Daytona tools to the Mitchell store several months ago. One of the items didn’t work when I bought it. Sydney tools have done nothing towards replacing the tools since I returned them. I have followed them up on several occasions and gone to their store to make enquirers. I am looking to report them to Fair Trading as what they are doing is illegal
Custom service was terrible, for the tens of thousands we spent on tools there each year I’m finally changing tool stores. Disappointing syd tools
Got charged above the ticketed price for an item. I mentioned it to the guy who served me and he said that the price went up today. I reminded him that he was with me and confirmed the item was $165, not the $175 he was invoicing me for, and I was told that if he gave it to me for that price, his manager would be upset. Extremely poor service. Exceptional range, however the fact that the ticketed price does not seem to matter when you go to pay has made me take all future business elsewhere. Cannot recommend to anyone.
Hi guys Be careful, these prices’ tags are not for the tools above them. Also, in case of returning an item make sure they REFUND you not CREDIT you. That's what happened to with then. To Sydney tools Michale removes these bloody confusing prices tags.
Bought a CPI laser which was way out of specs and could not be calibrated! Took it in 3 months ago and still waiting now. I've rang and gone in person only to be given the run around. Not very helpful
Walked into the store yesterday, 5 people standing behind the counter. One staff member looks at us and looked away without even asking if we needed a hand. Hardly anything on the shelves is priced. Absolutely pathetic service.
That's a nice shop with full Milwaukee range. kudos to Cameron for the best advice and excellent customer service
