Sushi Train at Bondi Junction is a fun and friendly place to eat at any time of the day. The staff greet everyone as they walk in and again all yell out goodbyes as you leave. It’s really fun. The plates of food that role past are plentiful with lots of variety. You can even get yummy desserts and fruit bowls. The sushi chefs are constantly making dishes in the centre so you can see everything is freshly made.
Very busy with waiting time 10min que outside the quality of the food is ok, but nothing wow. Just average and on the pricey $$ side. We have been here before and back then the quality was better. 3 stars for today hopefully it’s better next time.
The su shi got a lot of variety options, the eels hand rolls are delicious! The deserts are yummy too, the kids love it, but they don’t have mango ice cream! And the price is a bit higher than others! We spent $180 for 5 ppls.
You know a place is good when there is a permanent queue outside. The staff is super friendly and always helpful. I went with my daughter and the waitress automatically made a springy chopstick with a rubber band and paper.. Food is fresh as the turnover is constant. You can ask to order anything not on the train. Ginger,soy..mayo all be complimentary on the table. Dishes are colour coded as normal with I think 6-7 prices. If you want to take out you can just skip the queue and walk into the pickup area of the train and serve yourself into trays. Kid-friendliness: Got a sticker too
Felt sick right after I finished my lunch there. only had salmon sushi, a plate of sashimi, a miso soup and an udon. Lucky my office isn't far away, otherwise I might need new pants.
SOOO tasty! Unique takes on sushi too. The prawn volcano is to die for. Kupie mayo with the pork bits are great too. The food is incredible and tasty. Well worth the expensive prices. But the environment is not! It's a tiny place and can't fit too many people comfortably. Also a little dingy and outdoorsy for such pricy sushi.
I like going to this sushi train for a quick sushi fix. Usually has a good selection and high rotation of freshly made items
Food quality is ok, service is efficient. A little pricey and there was a funky smell in the restaurant. Might just need a good clean or wash.
This chain hasn’t let me down. Great food, great service, we’ll priced. I recommend ordering from the menu of you don’t see what you like, or just trying plates you haven’t tried before. My mates rated the place 4/5, he hasn’t given a reason why 4 has just stated that’s his rating.
The service in this restaurant is terrible. What was once a terrific establishment has become a joke tables are left uncleared after 30minutes the staff stand around staring at each other.
