This is an excellent local supermarket. Quite large for a local shopping centre, with good attention paid to range of items - lots of focus on sustainability, ethical, made in Australia, etc. I wouldn't do my weekly shop here but if you need something in a hurry, odds are good you'll find it here - even some quite niche ingredients.nnParking is decent out front with relatively quick turnover.
Wow! Produce is top quality and fresh. They've got great deals on bulk scotch fillet and sirloin. I bought both. perfect. Best local supermarket in Belconnen.
There are trolleys available here, which is something one does not see too often at a suburban grocer: although just like the big supermarkets, a gold coin is needed to unchain them.nnWhile the nut butter mill is labelled ‘staff use only,’ customers can operate the orange juicing machine. There is a sign which says, ‘help us support local farmers.’ This shop has the best looking fruit & veg I have ever seen in a suburban grocer in Canberra. There is a dedicated fridge for local beers, local white wines & rosés. And, there is an outstanding range of fresh meat for a suburban grocer.
One must always ask for receipt and check it! Two out of three visits I have been overcharged.
Convenient for local Scullin and Florey residents, and good quality produce, but a bit pricey and smaller variety of things. Their fresh orange juice making facility is a draw for many.
