Smaller sized IGA containing all the essentials. Surprisingly well stoked bottle shop within the store. Small car park which could prove problematic around peak times.
Low stock, high prices but most annoying was that I was asked to open my bag at the checkout. The girl was polite and apolgetic but it is a pretty sad, mistrustful policy by management. I won't shop there again.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!nnDefinitely not 5 stars if i could give 0 stars i would.nnI've been in Palmerston for over 20 yrs, watched different management come and go over the years even made some good friends because of it, unfortunately it's just not the same anymore, i went to get some change as i have a thousand times before, as i needed to give money to my sister and her 4 kids to get some dinner for that night, i was told that i had to buy something to get the changed i needed, this was a first for me after 20 yrs, so i was put off by this so called policy, i then stated that i actually cannot break what i have as it was all i had, and i needed it for my sister and her children, this unfortunately went through one ear and straight out of the other, as i was still refused change, i then went next door to the take away and lo and behold, i was immediately given the change I needed no questions asked, it was done in a blink of an eye, WITH NO PURCHASE, honestly you guys could learn a lot from them, thank you Palmerston Take Away, for resolving my extremely unnecessary issue, IGA created.
