Helpful staff, especially when they had so many varieties of soy sauce. Excellent selections, best priced in Canberra. Good advice and the produce has always been fresh.
They have increased prices dramatically even compared to the fyshwick markets Asian grocery, I am no longer a fan .
This is by far the best Asian grocery store in Canberra's north. It is very clean and tidy with plenty of space to move around and to browse for items. They have a big selection too, particularly the frozen and refrigerated sections. The staff are super friendly and treat everyone like a valued customer trust me, not all Asian grocery stores have this basic expectation. Highly recommended.

Capital Grocery is my go to Asian shop for Thai and some basic Japanese items. The range of fresh produce is great and you'll find some oddities like Shiso, Watercress, among other generic bok choy, coriander, spring onion, etc and specific and seasonal asian greens you might be lucky and find chrysanthemum leaves, Japanese horenso, etc. Frozen cassava is also on our regular shopping list. A wide range of sauces and pickled items are also available. Along with various types of rice.

Shop is not very big but has everything you need for southeast asian/chinese cooking. The vegetables and herbs are fresh and prices very reasonable. Found nearly everything I needed and was closer to get to than the mall from Page.
Very bad customer service. The elderly shopkeeper lady was absolutely rude when I asked her for the price of an item. Never going there again. There are other Asian Grocery stores in the vicinity.
