We went to sunglass warehouse to get some sunglasses as accessories for an event tonight. It is advertised as open until 4:30. We arrived around 4:10 after driving 30 min to get there. The lady had started closing early. When she saw us at the door she just called out, we're closed. This was disappointing. They need to change their hours or be open the advertised hours.

I'd always been intrigued by the Sunglass Warehouse, but only managed to wander in for the first time today. Not being the type to spend excess money on sunglasses, I'd been dubious about prices - determined to leave with a slammin' pair of sunnies, reluctantly prepared to spend up to $350. I spent less than half of that, with a personal tour of the incredible variety from one very helpful woman, Penny. She endured my poorly-phrased descriptions of what I was after and immediately plucked a gorgeous pair of Kate Spade cat-eyes from the wall - followed by similar designer pairs with characteristics that appealed to me. I tried them all on - this one 'too blocky', the other 'not sitting quite right' - but, in the end, Penny's intuition won out and it was the Kate Spade ones, with which I walked out. My enormous thanks to Penny, for her assistance in picking out the first >$10 sunnies that I've purchased. 'spose kudos to Kate Spade for the sweet sunnies too. S.
