This hostel not even deserves one star. I stayed here for about a month. First impression was horrible - dirty rooms, disgusting bathrooms and showers + dirty kitchen. And for this nightmare you have to pay 170$ rent p/w, 200$ bond + 30$ key deposit and you HAVE TO buy 2 shirts from the hostel for 30$ (not worth it!). The room was too warm to get enough sleep, because you’re not allowed to use the air conditioner. In our first week the work was not too bad. Our job was hourly rate and we worked about 5h a day (but anyways it’s not what they promise you (on gumtree for example: 8-10h work a day, 5-6 days a week, mostly hourly paid)) but every single week we stayed longer the job situation became worse and worse. Sometimes we only worked one day a week and earned not even the rent! So we made minus. Talking with the manager was senseless because he doesn’t care how his guests feel - he only told us that it’s our own fault because we work not hard enough what was pretty much bullsh*t (even some of the hardest workers couldn’t reach the hourly minimum wage!! That’s illegal! ). To make a long story short: keep away from this place!! One of the worst hostels in Bundaberg! Never come here! The only good thing were the other backpackers - a lot of lovely and friendly people! Thanks for that.

This hostel is the worst hostel I’ve ever stayed in. It’s dirty and messy. The beds are horrible uncomfortable and they gave me dirty bedsheets to sleep in. The pictures are not even close to the reality. The manager can’t speak English well and doesn't care about the people staying there. It’s a working hostel and they promise you hourly paid jobs with 8-10 hours a day and 6 days a week. If you’re lucky and get an hourly paid job, you get less than 6 hours work a day and not even close to 6 days a week. Most of the jobs aren’t hourly paid, they are piece rate to very low rates. I worked sometimes just 1 day a week, so I didn’t even earn enough money for the rent. You have to give them $200 bond and $30 key deposit, but you have to give to weeks notice to get it back. I think otherwise would everyone leave after one day. At the end you will get just $220 back because they keep $10 for laundry powder, even if you didn’t use ist. The rent of $170 a week isn’t worth it at all. And actually I wouldn’t give even 1 Star if I could. Just go as far away as possible from this hostel!!!

Literally the worst hostel I’ve stayed in, in all Australia. Mold in the kitchen and dirt everywhere in the hostel I definetly do not recommend to stay there.

No chairs in room, no fridge, aircon allways off, dirty, much cockroches, very unfriendly and impolite staff
