The steak quality is very good, juicy and cooked just right. We tried different type of steak and everyone is really satisfied. The price is certainly at the higher end though, ~$60 for a good piece of steak and you might want to order sides given the steak you order only come with potato chips or potato mash, so you might pay a bit more for the meal. That said it is very filling! Note that in the photo I provided it has salad and mushroom, they are actually additional orders from the sides. The mushroom is very good as well!
The oysters were not great. Steak and wine were great. Mash potatoes not so much. It also seems they were short on staff and took a while but the staff was friendly overall and the high quality of the steak and wine made up for everything else.Food: 4/5
I ordered the eye fillet, it was so delicious and it was so tender. The bone marrow side was really good too. There was also a really big selection of drinks. The steaks were all just really well seasoned and cooked perfectly. I can't wait to come back.
Wonderful host greeted us and set the mood for our evening. Our steaks were among the best we’ve had dining out, and the sides were delicious. Sorry but only empty plates left to show you… Do not skip on dessert if you can! On top of all that the view of Darling Harbour was fantastic. We will be back again.
Ok, this place set the bar at a new level. One pound T-bone cooked to perfection, amazing wine collection and the customer service was off the chart. If you love steak, you'll love this place.. 150% recommended ....
A brilliant dining experience. Any steak lover would go bezerk with the choices. We had steak for main course and desert. The liver pate, bone marrow and kingfish Carpaccio are amazing dishes as well. A must visit.
Upmarket place right on the water. Excellent food, cooked exactly as ordered. The main draw are the steaks but there are other items on the menu which are also great, such as the Beef Wellington. Large wine selection, also a couple of beers on tap. Great service. Lovely staff, all keeping very busy to make sure the whole experience is a good one. A tip would be to book online in advance to make sure you can get in, even during the week.
Very disappointed in the food this time. Ordered medium rare sirloin. Received over done, burnt what looked like cheap cut of meat from ALDI. Best thing about the whole meal was the Sonoma sourdough!
Perfect steak, priced expectations was on point for the location, great service and the dessert was just great.
Beautiful restaurant with a lovely atmosphere. The meals we ordered were amazing - if anyone can make us enjoy Brussel sprouts then that deserves an award. Steak cooked to perfection, sauces mouth drooling, baked potato to die for, calamari and oysters - delicious! Unfortunately we had to leave before dessert due to unsettled baby - can say that we will be back for a date night without baby!
