Love the steaks here. Always cooked to the perfect doneness and the quality of the meats are second to none. The cheesy garlic bread is so sinful - crisped around the edges, and soft, cheesy and garlicky inside. Don't forget the desserts, the tiramisu and banana crepes were heavenly. Amazing service and a casual homely vibe - a local gem that deserves all the love that it can get!
Great family owned and run business in a quaint restaurant. The food was lovely with your choice of steak you can even walk up and choose your steak from the display. AN inviting fire place in the middle of the restaurant that I’ll be sure to book a table near next time.
Fantastic meal thanks. Something a bit different, able to see the meat in the glass display case. Also enjoyed the dessert. Staff were amazing, very friendly, would certainly go back. Thank you for an enjoyable evening.
Steakbank provided the most amazing meat platters imaginable. The meat was excellent quality and it was perfectly cooked. It was well worth the cost and based on my experience their I will be going back for more. The restaurant is cozy and had fantastic parking as well behind the restaurant for those going by car. I give this 5 stars. Highly recommended!
What a disappointment! Wanting to enjoy a steak, decided to return to The Steak Bank after a great many years. My steak was cold as they must have waited for my husband’s; the chips that used to be crunchy and lovely were soggy; and the expected brown fried onions were undercooked, white and horrible. Not to be repeated.
Great atmosphere, with a nice little bit of history. Great customer service! Very friendly staff! And the food? Perfectly cooked steak and fantastic entree platter! Highly recommend this little great find!
We dined there and we had to dig very deep in our pockets to do so .One would think a Med rare steak would be hard to stuff up and at the cheapest steak Scotch on their menu being $57 which came with less salad than you find on a sandwich ...of course chips were extra $10 .... Over priced !! no wonder the place was near on empty on a Sat night
Went here for lunch on a Thursday with friends. We just loved the ambience of the place and I enjoyed one of the best steaks I've ever had. Opinions around the table were also likewise. Combined with a St Henri, it was a wonderful gastronomic experience. And did I forget to mention - it's BYO for wine as well. Thank God places like this still exist - we'll be back.
I have been eating at the Stesk Bank for many years. The steaks are second to none. They are always cooked to perfection by John. The service is stunning provided by Jane and her team. The highlight for me is always when John and Jane have time to sit down for a chat. Beautiful authentic people running a beautiful authentic steak restaurant. Do yourself a favour.
Good old fashioned steak house. Good quality meat, well cooked exactly as we ordered and very friendly service
