My mouth is drooling thinking about the food here. It was a precious novelty to experience kosher Israeli street food in Australia! The meals and sweet treats we had were absolutely scrumptious with reasonable prices, and the service was amazing. Lovely owner. 10/10 recommend Tavlin, will definitely be returning next time we’re in Melb!
Amazing Shwarma, good portion sizes and ... well just everything is fantastic. Highly recommend the Chicken Shwarma. Falafel is on point, Hummus is perfect, Pide soft and fresh, you can't go wrong here.Food: 5/5
Ordered a Shabbat Pack and a few extras as a gift for family. From initial communication, through to ordering and actual delivery everything was excellent - quick replies to email, easy ordering online and tracking for delivery. Food arrived on time, warm and delicious. My family were very excited to receive such a wonderful meal. Thank you to the team at Tavlin! I will be back!

Awful! Likely the worst take away food I’ve ever had. Quality is so poor, dry meat and not appetising. Portions are terribly small. It’s beyond laughable. Absolute rip off, so over priced. The tiny container of shawarma meat was $14, see photos attached. The chicken schnitzels are paper thin. I can’t believe the owner/chef is not embarrassed by the quality of their food.
First time going to the new Tavlin location and my partner and I were really disappointed. The chicken skewer lafa wrap had the smallest amount of untasty chicken, the chips were undercooked and soggy, and the falafel was dry and salty. Considering the prices they charge for food I felt so ripped off. Not sure if the new place has a different chef but unfortunately it’s not the same which is a real shame.
Dont use online order option. The shop prioritise in store order and I ended up standing like a fool for 20 mins at the shop for my food because I pre-ordered the food online. They weren’t apologetic at all and told me to not order online next time ‍ Soggy chips and seasoning not well distributed.
