The girl at the front desk is the best example of what worst customer means. The attitude she throws at the customer is entirely unacceptable. Her tone is very rude, as I was writing this review, a customer walked in and the way she repeats the order and total bill back to her; made me rethink who actually is the payee. Tap & Pay is at its peak, charge me extra $1 or 5% transaction fee, but still they are not ready to accept the small payments. Waiting time for an evening snack is so high that we might even pass the snack time when we receive the order.
The food is average, service could be better as much as I want to be compassionate to the lady who served me,a little smile while serving could go a long way!. The payment options are also minimal, EFTPOS or cash. I forgot my pin and couldn't tap the EFTPOS card either. Out of all the things we had like chicken biryani, malai kofta etc Gobi Manchurian is what I would recommend. Naan was not to bad. The prices were reasonable.
It remains open till midnight.. Still crowded.. Fish is always basa.. If you ask them to make the dishes spicy.. So they actually listen to you.. So beware.. Toilet is down a narrow passage way, and if you glance upon your right shoulder you will be able to see their kitchen.. Better walk straight to the toilet instead of looking here and there..
Outrageous. Utterly outrageous. The quality of the food is disgusting and the Chilli Paneer was horrible. The paneer was dry, like a rock, and tasted disgusting too. The ‘Manchurian Gobi’ came in whole pieces of cauliflower and tasted revolting. I would most certainly not visit the location again. The customer service was sickening, and the hygiene of the place is intolerable. They barely wipe the tables with TISSUES. No sprays, no wipes, nothing. Honestly, they don’t even deserve the one star I gave them as a google requirement. They don’t let you pay by Apple Pay, and no signs state that, so when you attempt to pay with Apple Pay, they say you can’t.The rice is SLIMEY, and the dal fry is distasteful. In the end, money wasted and a whole bag of food, in the bin. Pictures attached of the ‘paneer’

I have tried food from Anshuman Dhaba at Clayton and its great however here at anshuman dhaba caufield, the food is horrible. We ordered for around $60 and it was all SH*t. The naan were mere elastic... attached is the pictures of the sides of Roti which was too thick to consume... will never try again!!!
Girl at counter was so RUDE!!!! I went to pick up food and she demanded that I pay with physical card. When I told her I didn’t bring it and can only pay using my phone she started lecturing and yelling at me that I need to bring an actual card next time. What’s her problem!?? I’ve never been asked or had any problem paying using my phone before! I was here couple months ago as well, I asked the table to be cleaned as it had sauces all over the table from previous customers. Waitress proceeded to pour drinking water from previous customers jug and cleaned it with dirty napkins from previous customers as well. Absolutely gross!! It’s like they don’t think covid/germs are a thing.
Award for the worst Customer Service by a huge margin should be given to the staff at this restaurant. The girl on the front desk was very rude and her language was just not acceptable. Reason for some dishes not available was staff not available. Not sure, why have an item on the menu when you can't provide. That said, the food was average but will not be visiting again just for the service received.
Very poor service and poor food quality. The chicken biryani had very few chicken pieces, in fact the lemon slice biryani was bigger the chicken piece. The restaurant also didn't provide enough yoghurt in line with the size of the order we ordered 7 chicken biryanis we got just one Yoghurt on the side. The lady at the service desk was very rude to me and two of my friends when we went to pick up the order.
