Chef special soup was good! Great value for $18. Service was also better than expected, food and drinks came out quickly.nnBig breakfast it was not, especially not for $28.50.nHot chocolate should not be considered “large”, glass given for chai was not clean either! Tastes like something I could’ve made myself at home & saved myself the fuel and $5.nFlat white that we ordered after the fact tastes burnt; barista also did not rinse jugs after steaming milk. Not a very flat white.
Great food! Had the hasbrowns a-m-a-z-i-n-g homemade!! with brisket, the American burger, the turmeric latte and an oat milk hot chocolate, all very tasty! Served quickly, sat outside, we will come again!
I really wanted to enjoy Mr Brightside cafe, the reviews were good, the cafe looked great and all the pictures of the food looked fantastic.nnThe experience we had was pleasant, the staff were fantastic, they were accommodating with our pram and they served and topped up sparking water.nnThe coffees were fantastic, a nice dark roast. My partner had the almond flat white and I had a long macchiato - they were delicious.nnOur food though was a little bit disappointing, I had the soft tortillas with fried chicken and slaw. The chicken was overcooked, dry and under seasoned. And my partner had the eggs Benedict and the spinach was a little soggy and the hollandaise sauce wasn't the greatest.nnI don't want to turn anyone away, perhaps try something different on the menu. We will be back at some stage to try something else.
Great Rueben sandwich, a little different prep on a grill??.. I liked it ..great mustard plenty of it. Yummo
I was super excited to try this place and I had high hopes. The staff need to step up their game! When I asked what the filter coffee was for the day, not even the barista knew. I feel sorry for their coffee roaster, how embarrassing!nnOnce the food arrived it was nice and so well presented, but we had to ask for cutlery, but then I had to get up half way through and ask for a spoon for my meal.nnOverall the food was great, but the staff are in need training
