I have always been a loyal patron of the McKinnon. More recently there has been a change of owners. To the detriment of the hotel both the food and beverage standards have really dropped. ($42 for a scotch fillet with no sides.....) and the wine list by the glass was cheap and nasty. Overall, an extremely expensive Friday lunch at the pub.

Warm friendly atmosphere food is apsolutely delicious. Cant fault there meals well worth money spent. Suggest just meal in the bar area quiet large can just about by one and share. Delightful friendly staff always welcoming love the spacious interior well set out would highly recommend going here even if you want to just go with a group and just have drinks. Im a local and have not stepped in since they have revamped. Great place. Definitely be coming back Thanks guys great work 😆😆

Good Guys Brighton the 1star is for helpful security staff very busy chatting amongst themselves. It was a Sunday.

Decent food, but nothing worth writing home about, good atmosphere with the exception of the pokies being within earshot of the dinning area. Otherwise decent local hotel.
