Without doubt the best Indian restaurant I've been to. The service is polite and friendly, the menu is great, and, OMG, the food is awesome. The naan is the best I've ever eaten, and thinking about the curries has me salivating just writing this review. Try the saag gosht (lamb & spinach curry) -- it'll knock your socks off!

Living south of the Yarra, good Indian food is harder to find. Thankfully Bombay by Night is one of the better ones!!

Delicious food that is well above average! Some of the best Indian food in Melbourne. The initial service was a bit slow, we stood around looking lost despite making eye contact with some servers. The meal made up for it though! Heads up: it gets very loud and noisy during peak hours. It is a small space and it will be hard to hear yourselves, and it could distract from the meal drastically. If you want a quieter meal, opt for off-peak hours. S

Had a really nice time at Bombay by night. Staff were very kind, warm and inviting and the food was delicious. Great experience.
