This is the 2nd time I have rented a car with this company and I have nothing but good things to say about them. Best prices around. The owner went out of his way to drop of the car to me, knowing I was stranded. Lovely clean car that is a pleasure to drive. Very happy customer.
Our family booked a car twice with Star only for both times our trip was impacted due to the pandemic. Dave and the team there fully accommodated our changes and worked in our best interest. The service is beyond and the prices are better than the big car operators. Highly recommend.
Rented a car through this company and then had to return to Victoria due to Covid lock down on the Gold Coast and the Victorian Government declaring the Gold Coast a red zone. Supposed to have the car for 6 days but had to return the car after only 2 days and the company refused to give any refund for the days not used. They are quick to take payment for their vehicles but then not offering a refund or even a voucher for the days we did not have the car for. Very disappointed with Star rent a car and certainly would not recommend them to anyone. Disgraceful outcome.
Best car rental service over the coast. Highly recommended. Great and supportive manager. He supported me more than that they’ve advertised. High quality cars with no hidden costs. You won’t be disappointed by renting from them.
Buy far the worst company I had dealings with. Rude with no customer service skills at all. Definitely don’t recommend.

PRICE GOUGING 101 Online their prices are low, get a quote they are high. Apparently they "change their prices depending on demand and quantity of stock".
