Just had another recent VERY poor experience. We have had plumbing, shower,door frame, water proofing issues ( some fixed) with builder + more recently fridge cavity size. Plans said one size, reality is ACTUAL size was a lot smaller. Builder advised " not their fault, nothings perfect" our problem...they refused to even share cost to change!

Super satisfied with the entire experience. In these challenging economic times, we decided to select Peter Stannard Homes because they had a great reputation and over 50+ years of experience. We're proud to say that they have delivered. The whole building process was extremely foreign to me - we were amazed at the sheer number of tasks and moving parts involved where anything can go wrong. Despite that, our home was built within 12 months (pretty amazing considering its a large double storey home), and during the final inspection, the house was close to flawless - just a few speckle of paint touch ups required here and there which they have fixed within a day. From our experience, we definitely recommend Stannard Group to be your builder of choice!

We were very happy with the building process from start to finish. It was stress free in choosing a display home and then making some changes to the facade and the floor plan. The trades people worked to a high standard and the finish in the tiling and painting was excellent. We were kept informed of the progress and at handover there were minimal issues that needed correcting.Would highly recommend this company.

Overall, we were very happy with the design, planning and building process with Peter Stannard Homes. The trades employed by the Company were generally of a very high standard and our supervisor was excellent. We built a custom designed home, so didn't see a display of the home first, which meant there were a couple of things we would have changed in the design. eg a section of roof and gutter that fills with leaves but is very difficult to access for cleaning purposes. We would have liked a bit more consultation with the kitchen design, but it's still a great kitchen. We had a few issues with the electrical contractor used by Stannards, but otherwise, any other problems or defects were fixed promptly and without fuss. We have built and renovated many homes, as owner builders, with small builders and with other project builders, but Peter Stannard Homes rates highly in our opinion.

I built a home based on "The View" in Hillarys last year. It was the first home I have ever built and found the whole process quite easy with Peter Stannard Homes. Throughout the build Stannard Group was always quick to respond to any queries I had, the workmen were always friendly and helpful with any questions when I dropped by to watch the progress, and the followup at pre handover inspection and at the 4 month post handover inspection was top class service all round. I had an independent inspection done at pre-handover and he was very impressed with the quality of the work. I have been in the house just under a year and as yet there is absolutely no signs of cracking or settling or any problems to report. I am very happy with my whole experience and would highly recommend this builder to anyone building a premium home.
