Visited yesterday to pick up balloons and was so impressed with the girls who did them! Super lovely and professional and the balloons lasted all day today as well. Unfortunately my husband and I had to view a horrible customer treat the girls disgustingly for not being able to do an on-the-spot balloon order. This was clearly a management issue for understaffing! If more workers were available, the girls at the counter probably would’ve been available and wouldn’t have been mistreated by a nasty woman! To be honest the entire store seemed empty of staff… Management needs to do better.
I was shocked at how messy and unorganised and filthy this Spotlight store was. There were boxes and stock trolleys left all through the aisles, blocking the way and making it hard to shop. Shelves were in complete disarray, with products scattered everywhere and no sense of order or care.nThe cleanliness was terrible — the toilets were filthy, with urine all over the floor and toilet, toilet paper soaked and left on the ground, and empty rolls everywhere. It honestly felt unhygienic and neglected.nMost of the staff were unhelpful and rude, avoiding eye contact and acting as though customers were an inconvenience. When I asked for assistance, responses were vague and dismissive, and their body language made it clear they didn’t want to be there.nThe only bright spot was a young man working in the party section who was polite and seemed new. Unfortunately, his manager was openly frustrated with him for asking questions, which was uncomfortable to witness.Then the time waited at the checkout was absolutely ridiculous while only 1 person served.nOverall, the store felt chaotic, dirty, and poorly managed. This store is in serious need of new management and basic attention to customer service and cleanliness.

This Spotlight store is quite big and offers a wide range of products. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The only downside is the price labelling, which can sometimes be difficult to find. Overall, it’s a great store with lots of variety.
This place is huge! I was on a frantic search for a photography box I couldn’t find online and I needed it ASAP—no time to wait for shipping. I’m so glad I dropped by because not only did I find exactly what I was looking for, but they also had tons of items on sale. Bonus: I ended up spotting a great selection of blinds for our new home and even grabbed some cute craft supplies for my daughter. Totally worth the trip!
