Dymocks Adelaide

A book store, very rare indeed! And a very large one at that. Most of the books are upstairs, and when you get up there the whole floor is packed with books. They are all categorised so should be easily found, and range from old classics to the latest romance novels. They also have reference books, atlases and even a few textbooks. Pricing is very reasonable as they are competing with all the large online book stores, and there are always people there browsing around. I think it is excellent and thoroughly enjoy casually looking at their huge range, and if you can't find what you're looking for the staff are very helpful.

My favourite Dymocks store... maybe not as good as Sydney's George St, but it's a great store! Two levels with a huge selection of books. The staff are EXTREMELY friendly and there's a lot of them so there's always someone to help you!

Great selection of books and other items. Ideal for yourself or as gifts for others. Covers two easily accessible floors. Reasonable prices. Helpful, pleasant staff.

The range of books is impressive and the staff are knowledgeable and helpful but the prices are eye-watering. I am yet to find a book in this store that isn't significantly cheaper online. I understand they have to cover the cost of their overheads but the price difference well and truly goes beyond that.

Great selection of books, wouldn't say they have the cheapest prices, but the staff were warm & friendly.
