The team running this store do not understand the importance of a customers time. An appointment at the Genius Bar (surely an ironic noun) is merely a time to join the queue to see a technician. I arrived at previously agreed time with the absurd assumption that 9.20 am meant something in terms of these guys scheduling their work flow according to the universally agreed upon clock. Instead I was asked to wait like a docile lamb for shearing and for an indeterminate period of time. Why make an appointment time then? Best rock up when you can with time to spare and hope for the best, but plan for a long visit in the company of people who clearly have more demand than supply and the type of condescension that Apple staff are renowned for. Off I go to find an independent who will work for my custom and I'll be happy to pay more, at least they give AF.

Disappointed in the Genius Bar service - I arrived for my appointment on time and yet had to wait half an hour for a simple battery performance check. I was given the option for a same-day replacement if I wanted, which was appreciated.

Superb service from the Genius Bar! It is pretty important that people looking to service their product book in advance on Apple's support website. You may experience waiting times for those who do walk-in Genius bar appointments. With an online booking, I got a same day repair for my phone at a reasonable price with very friendly customer service!

They amazed me. I'm not an Apple supporter, but the service was above an beyond. The genius Bar sounded "daft" at first to me, but damn, they were great. Troubleshooted beyond what I could ever do, tested, re tested, retested again ensuring I left with a working product. I can honestly say they exceeded any expectation I had from them. They weren't wanky, or stuck up, which is what I have usually associated with Apple products. They were normal, civilised, wanting to help the customer. But seriously, if you have a fault I do recommend booking genius Bar appointment. But that said, I won't buy an iPhone, love my Galaxy series way to much. As for PC, still going to rock my Alienware. Apple is too particular and I like flexibility and customisation of my devices literally. Only thing I regret is not getting the Apple staff members name, to forward a compliment and just how amazing he was. If only other shops were as customer focused as Apple Rundle Mall.
