Amazing Customer Service today from the Lovely Rochelle in the Dunedin branch. Rochelle came to my house and measured and quoted a new blind for a large sliding door window. A lovely knowledgeable lady who made things simple and easy with samples and expertise in finding the right fit for me. As I live an hour away from a Spotlight Store, I occasionally buy online. Todate I have had no problems, with everything arriving in record time. This time I ordered a dress pattern for recently bought material from there. As there was a buy 1, get 1 free, I quickly ordered 2. They had 1, which I got within couple days. Thought the other would follow thru, coming from another branch. A week plus later, I now have the other! Thank you. But I would check your courier for efficiency. Glad I didn't want it straight away. Other than that, I have had only ever had positive service from Spotlight Dunedin. The staff when visiting have always been accommodating as well.
Awesome staff, and a great selection of products. I went in right before closing time! and they were incredibly helpful, pointing me towards exactly what I needed. Super friendly and a great team of people
absolutely appalling “customer service” if you could even call it that attempting to pay for my item at the counter and it isn’t scanning at the advertised sale price. When I query this I am cut off rudely and told I need to go upstairs to speak to a different department which is easier said than done for someone living in chronic pain. There was no line and I was not holding up any other customers. As someone who works at a craft store it is NEVER the customer’s responsibility to resolve a company issue like the POS system being incorrect, especially one that could so easily have been handled by a quick less than one minute phone call to the upstairs department. The appropriate response would have been “I’m sorry about that please give me a moment and we will get that sorted for you.” NOT “go sort it yourself”. And don’t get me started on the pathetic excuse for a manager who clearly needs more training and so does her staff. Thank goodness they have at least one staff member with their head screwed on. Thank you for your assistance Gareth. I will be recommending to people not to shop here.
