The food was fresh and delicious.  Service was friendly and attentive. The restaurant is comfortable and airey. Traditional Indian music softly in the background so you could hear all in your party talking.  Definitely go again.

Worst Indian I’ve had in Eastbourne. Decided to try place out and was disappointed. The bread was over cooked and hard. Not soft like it should be and had no garlic flavour. The mains we got all had no flavour or spice. Lack of seasoning and taste. Also the chicken korma was all sauce and only 5 tiny small bits of chicken. Expensive food for what you get. Don’t recommend and won’t be back

Overall, it was a good experience. The food was of a good standard but it was a bit on the cold side. Service was great  .  Beer was cold what more do you need.Food: 3/5

Absolutely fabulous restaurant with helpful and friendly staff. The food was gorgeous and we'll definitely be going back many times in the future.  Vegetarian options: There is a very good range of vegetarian starters, mains and sides. I&#39;ve been vegetarian for over 40 years and was very happy with the selection.

Took my English family that had flown in from california, they was looking forward to a good Indian meal, hard to find in california, we weren't let down, lovely surroundings, excellent service, above all gorgeous flavoursome food, thank you spice garden

All fine. However staff don't have a 'local' level of spice Vs the normal English level. Which is disappointingFood: 3/5

Absolutely awful. Visited here after hearing great things about it and after it had won awards.  Visited with a group of friends and we all ordered different mains. We were all severely disappointed in the mains. They lack taste, spice and the sauce seemed burnt and split. It looked sort of lumpy and was very dark. Not creamy and smooth at all. The chicken was also very dry and tender. How people like the food here, I do not know. I have had shop brought curries which have more flavour.  The pilau rice which should be yellow and full of saffron came to the table white and lacking flavour again. The garlic naan was soggy, undercooked and the garlic was dumped in large clumps. Honestly, awful experience.

Really good value. The dopiaza was exceptional, the best I've had! Shame this restaurant isn't closer to home!

Best Indian restaurant in Eastbourne... And consistently so. Been there many times and always good!
