I had an appointment today at Chermside Specs saver, after my appointment with the optometrist, it was noticed that I needed to have a slight change in my prescription from my glasses made almost 3 months ago though we were still under the guarantee period to have the replacement glasses at no charge but was refused by the store Manager today without even trying to find out the exact dates and he just said you can not have any replacement and one of our staff Chelsea will help you with your new pairs , we again mentioned to Chelsea that we took the glasses in January so it’s still under warranty but she also refused without checking her policy and just said it’s from the order date which was 9th December and our suppliers are very strict with the dates so we walked away from the store then my husband checked the website which clearly states that 3 months is from the date of pick up not the order date, he called customer service and they advised to go back to the store and the same Manager said you can choose any glasses now for free! No apologies though ! It states there that treat our staff with respect !! Please treat your customers with respect too and don’t make them feel embarrassed. We are happy but what a waste of our time on Sunday to go back to Chermside and look for parking again, if staff knows there policies or at least try to check would be appreciated rather then just refusing.
Every time I come to this store, the staff are friendly and the store is tidy. At my most recent visit, I picked up my new sunglasses and brought up an issue with my everyday glasses. I’d sat on my glasses and they were wonky. Georgia worked her magic and now they’re as good as new. Always a pleasant experience at Specsavers Chermside :
I had my eyes tested at a competitors store and following the test was left for 30 minutes with no assistance to select glasses. I decided to leave and go elsewhere for my glasses and am so happy I selected Specsavers Chermside. As soon as I walked in the door I was greeted with a friendly smile from the amazing Chelsea. The service I received at Specsavers was amazing and I would highly recommend them. Thank you Chelsea for your assistance and excellent customer service.
Jess from Spec Savers at Chermside just saved the day. My sunglasses fell off and the frames broke when I was at the shops today. Without an appointment, I entered the store and Jess immediately offered to help. Within minutes, she had replaced the frames with my own lenses and took the time to fit them. It was a pleasure to have Jess assist me today.
It was my first eye test in 6 years, great customer service from all staff. Nicole whom tested my eyes was great, and went into detail, and my eyesight was the same, so no new specs for now Thanks, Aaron.
Always had pleasant experience at this branch. Employees are proactive in helping me get the most out of my visit. Happy with the eye test, glasses and warranty coverage.
The customer service I received from Jessica at the Chermside store was above and beyond. My glasses were from another company who I won’t be returning to . The arm had broken on my glasses and without question Jessica took the time to replace both arms without cost. I know where I will be going for my next purchase. Thank you Spec Savers for your service and especially to Jessica who explained everything I needed to know,even when the store was so busy. 5 Stars from me.
I experienced old fashioned customer service that is such a rare thing these days. I went in to pick up some new glasses from the Chermside store today and was helped by Michelle who went above and beyond, also helping me with my other two pairs of stretched and broken glasses. I went in with two useless pairs of glasses and came out with 3 perfectly fitting pairs! Totally sorted me out. Thank you!
Had a great experience here, the team are all wonderful to deal with. Very happy with the whole experience of walking in, getting help to select a frame that suits me, and then having my eye test sorted for the prescription side of the glasses. Highly recommend!
Great service and very friendly professional staff. Was served very quickly by a lady name Jess who fixed my broken glasses which I needed for work and at no cost. Took the stress away. Was really grateful and will definitely return to these guys for further optical help and advice. Place was clean and tidy and well set out. Thank you specsavers 5 star from me.
