I have been buying my glasses from Bayside Optometry for the last 4 or 5 years now and am always very impressed with the friendly service and quality of glasses they recommend. The shop appearance tells the story; extremely neat and tidy and always well organised and presented. A big thank you to all the staff who have helped me with my optometry needs. I'll be back again soon.

I am not impressed with customer service here. I had asked for an explanation of an invoice for new sunglasses. I had purchased and Paid For, my new glasses and reading glasses before Christmas. I picked up my new sunglasses in the new year. The invoice had two items on it which seemed to me to be part of the sunglasses items which I had not ordered. The lady I spoke to said it was a "system" thing which I do not agree with. What was wrong with the shop assistant just apologising for the unnecessary inclusion of these items on my sunglasses invoice. That's all that had to be done. Instead, she did not listen to me and kept interrupting. I thought this was very rude. In the end, I just picked up my items and left the shop. No goodbye, no apology, I was just allowed to leave. Some customer service training is urgently needed here. All up I spent over $2,000 in this shop and I think I deserve better service than what I got. Future optometry needs will not be made here.
